Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment at all times
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and policies of the facility
  • Operate flexographic printing equipment safely
  • Follow quality assurance processes to produce high-quality products
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Hamada area
  • Manage waste removal effectively
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Interpret specification sheets for machine setup and operation
  • Operate prefeeder, robotic systems, and strapping equipment
  • Learn operator duties and progress as an operator in training
  • Achieve setup of the Hamada within 12 minutes
  • Maintain a production rate of 12,000 feeds per hour or better
  • Perform preventive maintenance on flexographic equipment as required
  • Document work orders and communicate machine issues to maintenance
  • Comply with environmental policies and management systems
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED preferred
  • Ability to read factory orders and accurately use measuring tools
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and available for various shifts, including weekends and overtime
