Warehouse Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the movement of goods within the warehouse utilizing motorized equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach lifts.
  • Stock incoming merchandise, replenish flow racks, and pick orders using RF technology.
  • Prepare cartons and labels prior to dispatch.
  • Break down incoming shipments according to packing lists.
  • Meet minimum productivity standards consistently.
  • Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures diligently.
  • Work overtime as necessary to meet operational demands.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently.
  • Organize incoming freight appropriately.
  • Replenish orders as needed to support warehouse operations.
  • Provide cardboard boxes and bags for various departments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular housekeeping tasks.
  • Ensure safe operations on and off equipment in compliance with Emerson's safety regulations and local laws.
  • Achieve department standards for quality, attendance, and productivity.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who You Are:

You possess a strong understanding of efficient processes and strive for continuous improvement. You are results-oriented, even in challenging situations, and communicate clearly while actively listening to instructions to ensure comprehension.

Qualifications Required:
  • Experience in a distribution center environment.
  • Forklift certification and at least six months of warehouse experience.
  • Background in shipping and material handling.
  • Experience using RF equipment for product movement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in safe forklift operation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Capable of lifting items over 50 pounds (with assistance as needed) and working in various physical positions for extended periods.
  • Adept at working quickly while meeting efficiency and quality benchmarks.
  • Encourage a culture of individual contributions towards quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Pass required forklift certifications and adhere to operational requirements.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
