Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Consumer & Community Banking team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will provide recommendations and insights on data management, governance procedures, and intricacies applicable to the acquisition, maintenance, validation, quality, anomaly detection, and utilization of data. You will also design and deliver data pipelines end-to-end using Spark SQL, Java, and AWS Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver data platform solutions
  • Provide recommendations on data management and governance
  • Develop and maintain code in a large corporate environment
  • Design and develop data pipelines using Spark SQL and AWS Services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience in developing Spark-based frameworks for end-to-end ETL, ELT, and reporting solutions
  • Proficient in coding in Java and Python
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Cloud implementation experience with AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Snowflake knowledge or experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
