Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our agile team, you will play a critical role in enhancing, building, and delivering top-notch technology products.

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions. We are looking for a talented engineer who can lead the development of high-quality software, collaborate with colleagues, and drive technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in cloud services, Java, Python, and other relevant technologies. They will be able to design, develop, and test software applications, as well as collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using cloud services, Java, Python, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Lead the development of high-quality software, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.

Requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Solid experience in cloud services, Java, Python, and other relevant technologies.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
