Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative software solutions, leveraging your expertise in software engineering concepts and technologies.
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Java.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for DNS and DHCP services, preferably BlueCat.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, particularly DNS and DHCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of API integrations and RESTful services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
