Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Corporate and Investment Banking team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative software solutions to meet business needs
  • Lead technical troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement
  • Design and implement secure, high-quality production code
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize technical requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java and J2EE
  • Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and architecture
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines
