Job Summary

HIAS is seeking a highly skilled Budget & Fiscal Compliance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Budget & Fiscal Compliance (BFC) team, you will provide critical support to ensure the effective management of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and submission of financial reports to federal agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with the BFC team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, program management, and operations, to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in financial operations, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office and financial software.
