Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Engineer to join our team in Spokane, with opportunities to support our Olympia, Seattle, Burlington, and Portland offices. As a Bridge Design Engineer, you will play a key role in managing, designing, and detailing bridge projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing and designing bridge projects, including seismic assessment, in-service inspection, bridge load ratings, repairs, and rehabilitations.
  • Network with clients from diverse backgrounds, including private, local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-discipline design team to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong technical and organizational skills, with a focus on AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and Department of Transportation bridge design standards.
  • Utilize computer analysis software systems, including AutoCAD, PGSuper, Risa 3D, MathCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a focus on bridge/structural engineering, preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in bridge design, seismic assessment, in-service inspection, bridge load ratings, repairs, and rehabilitations.
  • Professional Engineer License.
  • Experience with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and Department of Transportation bridge design standards, preferred.
  • Strong technical and organizational skills, with excellent leadership, supervisory, and communication skills.
