We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer in Training to join our team at Century West Engineering, a leading civil engineering consulting firm in the Northwest. As a Civil Engineer in Training, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including municipal and aviation engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Assist in the preparation of preliminary design specifications and drawings, and perform engineering calculations to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Project Support: Visit job sites to observe field activities and confirm that they are consistent with design plans and specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Coordinate with and review design work from other engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Recent graduate or up to four years of relevant experience.
  • Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and be making progress toward professional licensure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
