Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at WEMCO, Inc. as a key member of our design and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, as well as validating and improving the performance of electromechanical equipment and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Utilize computer-aided software to design and evaluate electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test procedures to validate the performance of electrical systems and electromechanical equipment, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports, to ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Skills: Strong AutoCAD skills, experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred, as well as strong programming skills and knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional Engineering license in Electrical Engineering.
