Job Function

Responsible for the sale, rental, or leasing of new and used construction equipment and attachments. Meet customer needs, grow market share, and maintain acceptable profit levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize sales strategies to meet company targets.
  • Demonstrate and operate heavy construction equipment for customers.
  • Establish relationships with new customers to enhance sales opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with current customers to increase loyalty and market share.
  • Listen to customer problems and respond with solutions.
  • Work with customers to understand their needs and provide value-selling proposals.
  • Manage sales-related expenses and submit periodic reports.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
  • Heavy equipment sales experience or equivalent.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, self-motivation, and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer and application systems skills.

Work Environment:

Working in the assigned territory, calling on customers, and occasional travel.

Physical Requirements:

Minimal.
