Position Overview
UCSF Health is in search of a Senior Vice President of Shared Clinical Services to spearhead collaborative clinical operations across both inpatient and outpatient facilities. This role encompasses oversight of essential services including Laboratory, Pathology, Imaging, and Rehabilitation Services.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
1. Ensure that all facilities are equipped with the necessary clinical teams and services to achieve their quality and safety objectives, as well as operational requirements.
2. Direct the formulation and upkeep of policies and procedures pertinent to shared clinical services.
3. Define performance management objectives and track progress against these benchmarks.
4. Oversee procurement processes for equipment and supplies essential to core services.
5. Allocate resources, including space and services, in alignment with strategic initiatives and site-specific needs.
6. Provide regulatory oversight to ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Leadership Role
This pivotal leadership position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer of UCSF Health. The incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the coordination and alignment of strategies and resources across the organization.

Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a clinical discipline, along with equivalent experience or training.
- Extensive executive management experience within a complex healthcare environment.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare delivery models, strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with executives, campus leadership, and external agencies.
- Expertise in establishing metrics to drive operational excellence and integration.
- Strong financial acumen in budget development and management.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred:
- A Master’s degree in business, health administration, or a clinical field.
