Role Overview: The Culinary Operations Leader is responsible for managing the kitchen with professionalism, respect, and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the restaurant's culinary vision, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to all operational standards. The leader will also mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure the highest standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit integrity and professionalism that align with the values and mission of Bourbon Pub.
  • Ensure all guests receive warm, responsive, and professional service consistently.
  • Perform all duties with efficiency, respect, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and external partners.
  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment that encourages team growth and development.
  • Lead the management team to uphold service standards recognized by prestigious accreditation sources.
  • Fully understand and implement all operational procedures, standards, and training programs.
  • Proactively address challenges and contribute to team decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the primary language(s) of the restaurant's operational area.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking within a fine dining environment.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and professional image that reflects the restaurant's philosophy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods (minimum of 8 hours daily).
  • Able to reach, bend, and frequently lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Possess the stamina to work a minimum of 50 hours weekly.
