- Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to kitchen staff, promoting career growth and development.
- Inventory and Purchasing: Manage inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure efficient purchasing practices.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit accurate reports, including inventory, labor, and sales data.
- Culinary Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in fine dining restaurants, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
- Certifications: Possess a Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection from the local Department of Health.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain good hygiene and posture.
- Availability: Willingness to work a minimum of 60 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
