We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Gravity Haus Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including production, prep, special events, purchasing, and receiving.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage the culinary team, providing coaching, counseling, and feedback on job performance.
- Cross-train team members to improve and widen their kitchen knowledge on each station.
- Manage labor costs, food costs, and other controllable costs to help the restaurant reach its financial goals.
- Adopt, maintain, and execute the Gravity Haus Culinary operations system to ensure successful Back of Haus operations.
- Ensure proper food safety in the kitchen, including temperature log completion, product rotation, and other critical tasks.
- Review financial information, such as sales, costs, and labor, to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Represent Gravity Haus as an ambassador, sharing our mission and vision with customers and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 4 years successive culinary experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in culinary leadership preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50lbs.
