Position Overview

The Operations Team Lead Manager role is pivotal in guiding Team Leads and team members to meet operational objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). This position ensures that operations are efficient and compliant, directly supporting customer needs while overseeing performance metrics, workload deliverables, and customer service initiatives. The role also involves ensuring that the expectations set by functional area Managers are fulfilled, including the execution and management of project plans, optimal resource allocation, and fostering collaboration across the organization to maintain cross-functional consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with minimal managerial oversight.
  • Guarantee that direct reports receive comprehensive training to prioritize and complete daily tasks effectively.
  • Oversee daily operational activities and provide guidance and development to team members to meet the goals and KPIs of service teams.
  • Serve as an expert in Allergan's products and business processes for team members, including process mapping.
  • Lead project execution on initiatives that align with operational strategies.
  • Identify innovative solutions to leverage opportunities, enhance efficiencies, and boost productivity within operations.
  • Collaborate proactively with team members and cross-functional groups to devise creative solutions for operational challenges, ensuring the highest level of service for our patients and customers.
  • Conduct team training as necessary for new products/services, process enhancements, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in health sciences or business is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of five years of supervisory experience in the healthcare sector, preferably within pharmacy operations.
  • Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining solid professional and business relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • In-depth understanding of federal, state, and industry regulations and standards.
