Role Summary
We are in search of a dedicated and proficient IT Operations Manager to become a part of our expanding legal practice. This pivotal role involves overseeing IT operations, managing cloud resources, and leading a team of IT professionals. Your contributions will be essential in addressing the growing technological demands of our firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Direct and mentor the IT operations team, including staff training and performance evaluations. Promote a collaborative team culture and ensure timely project delivery.
- Cloud Resource Oversight:
- Manage the optimization of cloud resources, ensuring both reliability and scalability. Supervise integrations with cloud services to facilitate business operations.
- Technical Assistance:
- Deliver tier-1, tier-2, and tier-3 support for IT-related issues. Establish troubleshooting protocols and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud systems.
- Project Coordination:
- Plan and implement IT projects, collaborate with various departments, and propose new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Security and Compliance Management:
- Enforce security protocols to safeguard data and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Conduct routine security audits and risk assessments.
- Vendor Relations:
- Oversee relationships with IT vendors and negotiate service contracts.
- Budget Development:
- Assist in formulating and managing the IT budget, strategizing for future upgrades in alignment with organizational goals.
- Incident Response:
- Utilize ConnectWise for IT operations and prioritize incident management activities.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations.
- Technical Proficiencies:
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, IT security practices, and experience with ConnectWise and legal practice management software.
