Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
As a supervisor, you will manage a team of analysts tasked with evaluating and consulting on operational performance, analyzing operations, setting performance objectives, and assessing grant opportunities. Your ultimate goal will be to drive significant enhancements in the quality and cost-effectiveness of government systems throughout the state.
This position also involves participation in high-profile projects aimed at system improvements, realignment, and cost reduction.
Work Environment:

Job Duties:
Lead, train, and supervise a team of analysts, delegating tasks, setting priorities, and conducting performance evaluations.
Manage the state's improvement project portfolio to meet performance targets in collaboration with leadership and experts.
Provide analytical support and consultation to state officials, evaluating program effectiveness and implementing budgetary recommendations. Review financial and operational reports, presenting findings to senior leadership.
Assist department heads in launching new initiatives through necessary fiscal and management analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
A bachelor's degree in public administration, finance, economics, or a related field, along with six years of relevant experience.
Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred:
Candidates with a master's degree in the relevant fields will be prioritized. Experience in delivering formal presentations and proficiency in data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel or Access is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to executive-level personnel.
Capability to identify optimization opportunities within financial and operational systems.
Ability to engage with individuals at various organizational levels.
Proven track record of motivating teams to achieve shared objectives.
