Position Overview:


The Enhanced Clinical Specialist 3 is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of patient scheduling and intake processes. This role demands a thorough understanding of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and the ability to recommend enhancements that drive efficiency in encounter completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert in clinical workflows, overseeing the entire process from patient scheduling to encounter completion, while also addressing the use of EMR by healthcare providers.
- Lead initiatives for new site and provider integrations, ensuring seamless transitions and ongoing support post-implementation.
- Coordinate ECS activities, including provider optimization and system upgrades, while actively participating in team and interdepartmental meetings to convey system functionalities.
- Analyze user action data from Epic, employing standard methodologies to interpret results and present findings in a clear, actionable format.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to support data management and analysis, synthesizing information through various methods, including Excel modeling.
- Develop comprehensive reports for management, detailing workflow assessments, optimization strategies, and training interventions.
- Maintain dashboards and logs to track provider engagements, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of ongoing activities.
- Provide both in-person and remote support, documenting all interactions within the incident tracking system and contributing to the knowledge base for future reference.
- Foster strong relationships with managers, directors, and team members to achieve departmental goals, while acting as a liaison between providers and the Epic teams.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards, ensuring follow-up with end users to guarantee issue resolution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the department's objectives.


Required Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays and weekends, with potential travel to affiliate locations.
- Experience with EpicCare, either in Ambulatory or Inpatient settings, is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, complemented by excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to values such as integrity, patient-centered care, and accountability in all professional interactions.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.

Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Management, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows, documentation standards, and the effective use of electronic health records is essential.
- Proven experience in customer service, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
