Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Position patients to capture accurate images
  • Administer contrast material as needed
  • Send images to radiologists for interpretation
  • Clean and disinfect scanner and exam rooms
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist is strongly preferred
  • Valid New York State radiology registration as required by state law
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is required within one year from hire date
Working Conditions

The CT Technologist must understand and accept the possibility of exposure to inside environmental conditions, such as radiation, noise, infectious/communicable diseases, blood and blood-borne diseases.

Physical Demands

The CT Technologist must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, pull, and lift as per the job requirements.

Pay Range

$51.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
