Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating CT scan equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering contrast material and positioning patients for optimal image capture
  • Ensure accurate and safe operation of CT scan equipment, adhering to radiation safety measures and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a CT scan environment
  • Valid New York State radiology registration and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and CT certification within one year from hire date
