Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating CT scan equipment, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering contrast material and positioning patients for optimal image capture
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with CT certification preferred
  • Valid New York State radiology registration and current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

The Computed Tomography Technologist will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with exposure to radiation, noise, and other potential hazards. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, with a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

Pay Range: $34.65 - $51.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
