Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional support to team members through effective communication and customer service capabilities.
- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) processes for all US subsidiaries utilizing SAP Ariba and SAP ECC6 systems.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for A/P across all US subsidiaries, including handling purchase order and invoice accruals. Must adhere to strict deadlines.

- Execute Journal Entries within the SAP/Hana ERP framework.

- Prepare comprehensive A/P account reconciliations.

- Oversee GR/IR (Goods Received, Invoices Received) Aging by collaborating closely with the Purchasing Team and supplier network.
- Facilitate weekly payment processing.
- Support the administration of the Purchasing Card program.

- Assist in the auditing of Concur expense reports.

- Complete necessary Governmental Reporting for US subsidiaries.

- Maintain documented policies and procedures.

- Engage in system upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.

- Provide assistance during audits and other ad hoc requests as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Accounting experience; A/P experience is preferred.
- Basic+ understanding of US GAAP is essential.

  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The physical demands outlined are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. This position is primarily office-based. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets are routinely used. The role is largely sedentary; however, some filing may be required, necessitating the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as needed. The position may also require occasional lifting of office supplies up to 35 pounds and involves 4 to 6 hours of computer screen/keyboard usage daily.
