About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Training Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Global Sustainment team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of technical publications and training for our RMS-C6ISR programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training materials, including instructor-led training and course content, to ensure that our customers have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain our systems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective training solutions.
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders, including training and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in our industry and apply this knowledge to improve our training programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably in a technical or aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality training programs that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address training needs and gaps.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance (TS/SCI) required.
Desired Skills
  • Professional writing experience, including editing and proofreading.
  • Network training experience.
  • Logistics engineering skills.
  • Air Defense and Mission Planning experience.
  • Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) Communications and Command & Control (C2) systems.
  • Experience working with engineering personnel in determination of system capabilities and schedules.
  • Experience in planning and conducting training for product end-users and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with agile software development processes.
  • Experience developing operations or maintenance training for complex electronic systems.
