Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries regarding auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies, ensuring thorough follow-up on all interactions.
  • Strive for first-contact resolution to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all product lines (Auto, Homeowner, and Umbrella) specific to New Jersey.
  • Accurately input and update policy details in various processing systems while managing phone inquiries.
  • Conduct research and implement changes or corrections to customer policies in accordance with established protocols and sound judgment.
  • Consistently meet or exceed customer and agent expectations by delivering professional and efficient service through positive interactions and extensive product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree and/or NJ Property & Casualty license is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient computer/data entry and mathematical skills; prior experience in a high-volume client service environment is advantageous.
  • High energy and motivation to follow up and take ownership of tasks.

Work Schedule:

  • Customer Service department operates from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flexibility in availability is essential, as shifts will vary within this timeframe. Candidates should be prepared to work 2-3 late nights weekly (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and participate in a rotational Saturday schedule every third Saturday (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).
  • 4 days in the office, with 1 day of choice to work from home after training.

Compensation: $22 per hour
