Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries regarding auto, home, and umbrella insurance policies, ensuring thorough follow-up on all communications.
- Strive for first-call resolution, simplifying the customer experience.
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all product lines (Auto, Homeowner, and Umbrella).
- Accurately input and update policy details in various processing systems while managing phone inquiries.
- Conduct research and implement changes or corrections to customer policies in accordance with established protocols and sound judgment.
Requirements:
- A college degree and/or NJ Property & Casualty license is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, listening, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer/data entry and mathematical skills; prior experience in a high-volume client service environment is advantageous.
- High energy and motivation to take ownership and follow up effectively.
Work Schedule:
The Customer Service department operates from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates should have flexible availability, as shifts will vary within this timeframe. This includes the possibility of working 2-3 late nights weekly (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and a rotational Saturday shift every third Saturday (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Once fully trained, employees will work 4 days in the office and have the option for 1 work-from-home day of their choice.
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is $22 per hour.
