The Audio-Visual Events Team at Milestone Technologies delivers extensive support for the execution of large-scale corporate gatherings.

This team consists of professionals adept in AV technical pre-production, equipment selection, and live event technical management. We are currently looking for an Audio-Visual Event Support Specialist to provide essential support services during events.

The position may require assisting with the initiation of in-room presentations, offering dedicated technical assistance for in-room AV systems, and potentially working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as event production A1 or A2, Graphics, or TD/switching, based on event requirements.
  • Set up, configure, operate, and provide support for event productions.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of contemporary audio/video standards and equipment.
  • Act as the primary contact for all audio and video production aspects of events.
  • Ensure a well-executed event experience for both streaming and in-person attendees.
  • Utilize the run-of-show document to guide the event flow effectively.
  • Collaborate with fellow crew members on the execution of event elements before and during shows.
  • Participate in pre-show production meetings to clarify responsibilities.
  • Conduct thorough testing of all playback elements to ensure proper functionality.
  • Monitor event content closely to deliver maximum quality.
  • Ensure precise audio levels and video feeds for recordings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in programming and operating switchers, graphics, mixers, microphones, and all related audio equipment.
  • Manage gear configuration upgrades and innovate new show elements.
  • Assist presenters in the proper placement and tracking of lavalier microphones.
  • Prepare, organize, and track handheld microphones and other necessary equipment.
  • Restore the event space to pre-production standards after events.
  • Communicate effectively with Executive Leadership and relevant support staff to facilitate high-profile events.
  • Engage and collaborate with clients and various departments within the organization.

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and capability to work well with diverse personalities.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek guidance.
  • Capability to simplify AV technical information for those unfamiliar with industry jargon.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory; experience and skill level will be considered.

Preferred Certifications:

AVIXA CTS

  • Previous experience in corporate event settings.
  • Knowledge of AV Signal Flow & Troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with various AV equipment and systems, including routers, switchers, recording devices, audio mixers, microphones, lighting boards, cameras, and software such as Zoom, Google Suite, Keynote, Slack, Dante Controller, Smaart 8, Mbox/Qlab/Playback Pro/Quicktime.
  • Report any equipment failures to the AV team promptly.
