Los Angeles, California, United States Riot Games Full time

As Riot Games continues to expand its reach and deliver engaging content to a worldwide community of enthusiastic gamers, our IT Division faces numerous challenges and opportunities focused on the design, construction, and maintenance of a robust global infrastructure that underpins the organization's growth.

Establishing a reliable and flexible foundation is a complex task, especially as it can evolve rapidly.

This role is not your conventional corporate IT position where you are confined to a single specialty and expected to produce the same output repetitively.

We are the essential support system for achieving our vision of prioritizing "Player Experience First." Our Audio-Visual Support Specialists are versatile, resourceful, and eager to explore innovative methods that enable us to automate and scale operations while enhancing their specific areas of expertise.

They serve as mentors, pioneers, and are only fulfilled when they exceed expectations in delivering value.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for assisting team members with Audio, Video, and Scheduling challenges across all event and conferencing venues.

You will represent IT support and provide exceptional customer service for Riot offices globally.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting various aspects of our events that require AV assistance for both internal and external participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a variety of computing devices, AV equipment, console gaming systems, and arcade machines while overseeing management systems to optimize efficiency and scalability (including deep freeze, SCCM, AD, and other SaaS platforms).

Assist in managing Digital Signage (including Design, Scheduling Management, and Technical Support).

Support internal live broadcast event productions by assisting in the setup of LED walls, televisions, microphones, prompters, cameras, and other broadcasting requirements.

Create and maintain documentation.

Manage support requests through various channels and effectively communicate symptoms and relevant details to higher-level support as needed to resolve complex issues.

Assist with any AV requirements for playtests and internal events.
Collaborate with AV Engineers on new installations and intricate challenges.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with conference room hardware and software (computers, displays, microphones, speakers, etc.).
Conduct field installations of control systems (Q-SYS/Crestron).

Execute comprehensive onsite audio-visual equipment installations, including low voltage wiring, equipment rack setups, LED systems, media rooms, audio hardware, and control systems.

Field installation of control programs (Extron/Crestron) – including upload and download capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Able to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Experience with commercial AV systems and the ability to create various types of cables, including cat6 and audio cables.

Basic knowledge of power tools, working with ladders, and performing confined space tasks with appropriate safety equipment.

Execute comprehensive onsite audio-visual equipment installations, including low voltage wiring, equipment rack setups, projectors, LED systems, media rooms, audio hardware, and control systems.

Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time, potentially internationally.
Understanding of networking principles for data transmission (AVoIP, NVX, Dante, NDI).

Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with support techniques for hardware, software, and networking challenges.

Ability to identify root causes of component failures, diagnose issues swiftly to minimize downtime, and recognize potential systemic problems.

Comprehension of technical specifications for various hardware, knowing which equipment is suitable for specific situations.
Experience with AV integration focusing on physical installation and end-user support.
Experience in operating and supporting live and streamed corporate events.
Proficiency with Google Suite tools.
Certifications from AVIXA, Infocomm, or other industry organizations are advantageous.
Experience with Q-Sys and Crestron is a plus.

Success in this role will stem from your technical expertise, collaborative nature, and decision-making that prioritizes your colleagues, who are the end-users of your work.

A passion for gaming is not a prerequisite for this position.

Our Benefits:

Riot Games emphasizes work/life balance, demonstrated by our open paid time off policy, alongside other benefits such as flexible work schedules.

We provide medical, dental, and life insurance, parental leave for you and your family, and a 401k plan with company matching.
