We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician III to play a pivotal role in our California operations. This position is essential for our installation and service team, and we are looking for candidates who possess both technical skills and a positive demeanor.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the setup and integration of state-of-the-art AV technologies from leading manufacturers including Barco, Biamp, Christie Digital, Crestron, Extron, Middle Atlantic, NVIDIA, Poly, Samsung, Shure, Sony, and Microsoft Teams.
- Support onsite commissioning processes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, routine testing, and troubleshooting of integrated AV systems.
- Interpret architectural plans, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
- Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
- Exercise sound judgment in customer interactions and task execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Evaluate and test new technologies and implementation methods.
- Ensure all tasks comply with IGI standards and protocols.
- Engage in continuous professional development through training and certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial audiovisual systems.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in AV integration is preferred.
- Strong understanding of AV systems integration and familiarity with wall and ceiling construction techniques.
- Experience with Biamp DSP is advantageous.

This position is based in California, with regular local travel and occasional out-of-state travel required.
CompensationThe pay range for this role is between $26/hr. and $38/hr., commensurate with experience.
