Job Summary

The J. Paul Getty Trust, The is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Specialist to join our team. As an Audio Visual Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering and executing audio/visual materials for Getty programs, including exhibitions, orientation theater, and live performances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audio/Visual Support: Apply comprehensive knowledge of audio/visual support to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • User Request Evaluation: Evaluate user requests and recommend appropriate means of presentation to meet production requirements.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Plan and implement audio and visual equipment setup, perform routine maintenance, and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the style and quality of presentations and live performances are consistent with Getty standards.
  • Technical Resource: Maintain knowledge of new technology in the field through ongoing research and recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree with coursework in audio/visual, video, and multimedia disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in audio/visual support.
