Job Description

The Director of Human Resources will serve as a key cultural ambassador for Omni Hotels, fostering a culture of excellence and driving business results through strategic HR initiatives.

This role will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, compensation, and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully opening and managing luxury properties, with a strong background in HR leadership and a passion for people development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for recruiting top talent and building a high-performing team
  • Drive and reinforce the Omni culture, ensuring a cohesive and thriving workforce
  • Create and maintain a community involvement strategy that enables Associates to give back to the community
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to HR Leaders and Executives in Development
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OFCCP, DOL, and VETS 100
  • Administer salary administration policies and programs, including merit increases and local wage surveys
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state laws affecting Associates and operations
  • Provide counsel and assistance to management on Associate problems and supervision
  • Represent the "Voice of the Associate" in the operation
  • Implement strategies to increase employee engagement and reduce turnover
  • Provide analysis of turnover trends and identify strategies to address
  • Champion associate recognition programs, including Cultural Warrior and annual awards

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR leadership experience, with a strong background in union experience and Executive Committee level experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully opening and managing luxury properties
  • Proven leadership skills that support Associate growth and development, teamwork, and exceptional customer service
  • Service-oriented, detail-focused, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
