Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) is seeking a seasoned human resources executive to play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. As our next Chief Human Resources Officer, you will lead and execute the global people and organizational strategy, delivering human capital and talent plans that enhance our values-based corporate culture in support of HBP's mission, corporate culture, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build the Workforce of the Future: Identify essential roles, skills, and capabilities to expand HBP's reach and impact. Partner with leaders to ensure workforce design meets current and future needs. Develop strategies for global workforce growth, including upskilling and recruitment initiatives.
  • Align People Strategy to Business Goals: Ensure our total rewards strategy keeps HBP competitive in the talent market. Collaborate with business leads to enhance team performance and organizational efficiency. Implement performance management systems aligned with company goals and OKRs.
  • Drive Excellence: Lead a high-performing, results-oriented HR team. Foster a diverse and inclusive culture across our global workforce. Develop communications and strategies for both in-office and remote employees that promote a shared sense of purpose, strong learning orientation, and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years as a senior HR executive with extensive experience in all HR functions, including total rewards, employee relations, internal communications, leadership & development, and talent acquisition.
  • Proven experience working with global teams.
  • Prior experience with both commercial and mission-driven organizations.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors and/or Compensation Committee.

Salary Range: $275,000 - $325,000

Performance-Based Variable Pay Program: This position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance-Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
