Job Summary:
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our Engagement and Community Affairs team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff, while also managing the day-to-day operations of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations: Greet visitors, respond to phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
- Space Scheduling: Coordinate room reservations, manage the 25 Live scheduling system, and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Facility Coordination: Report any maintenance or supply issues to the Associate Director of Operations and assist with ordering necessary materials.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the CEC Director, including scheduling meetings and managing their calendar.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
