Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes and ensure adherence to quality standards. This role is tailored for individuals with military backgrounds, including Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality control protocols throughout the manufacturing lifecycle to achieve compliance with industry standards.
  • Audit Coordination: Oversee internal and external certification audits essential for production readiness and compliance.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
  • Quality Awareness: Promote quality consciousness across the organization and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing discrepancies and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.
  • Documentation Management: Create and maintain manufacturing procedures and technical documentation in line with quality system standards.
  • Training: Facilitate effective quality training for all personnel to ensure compliance with established protocols.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing or operations engineering, preferably in relevant industries.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Physical capability to perform various tasks, including lifting and working in diverse environments.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for site assessments and audits.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
