General Superintendent/Project Manager
The Project Superintendent will directly report to the General Superintendent or Project Manager. This role is pivotal in overseeing and directing a team of Foremen, installers, and subcontractors to ensure the delivery of superior quality and exceptional customer service. The individual will provide on-site management for all stages of construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee timely project completion.
- Oversee productivity and manpower allocation.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain effective communication with the project team.
- Coordinate inspections and address any compliance issues.
- Maintain a daily log and assist in future project planning.
- Support budgeting, bidding processes, and subcontractor awards.
- Lead production meetings and ensure a tidy and organized worksite.
- Identify and resolve job progress punch list items.
- Ensure that work quality aligns with industry standards.
- Perform quality assessments to minimize callbacks and warranty claims.
- Conduct site walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Engage proactively with the construction team and foster client relationships.
- Cultivate subcontractor partnerships for future project opportunities.
- Proactively schedule subcontractors to enhance project success.
- Acknowledge employee achievements and recommend promotions.
- Assist in the interview process and provide recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with the Safety Officer for site visits and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills, self-driven, and punctual.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
