WestLand Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Phoenix. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical development of proposals and designs for water/wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Create and develop written proposals, including technical writing and editing.
- Project Coordination: Assist in the development of water and wastewater design projects, including designing water distribution storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pumps stations, lift stations, piping and conveyance systems, and other water/wastewater system details.
- Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate deliverables from subcontractors, vendors, and partner consultants.
- Client Communication: Coordinate communication and the delivery of information between WestLand, our subcontractors, and our vendors with our clients.
- Business Development: Learn how to initiate and develop relationships with current and future clients and vendors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in a related engineering discipline or in a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration: Preference will be given to those candidates that are registered (or have the ability to register) as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with water/wastewater systems (four or more years preferred).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
- Salary: The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $103,000.00 per year.
