Role Summary
nFocus Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to lead and guide teams through all phases of project execution, from inception to completion, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
Responsibilities:

  • Create documentation to support plans and processes, ensuring consistency and alignment across teams.
  • Break down project requirements into practical deliverables with clear estimates and timelines.
  • Establish and maintain communication channels to identify roadblocks, manage budgets, and drive progress.
  • Lead and facilitate project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Use data-driven insights to manage development resources and appropriately assign team members.
  • Develop performance metrics and monitor team action items to keep leadership teams informed.
  • Ensure transparency into project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Proactively manage scope creep through research and discussion.
  • Develop feedback loops for continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain change management processes with appropriate documentation.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in software project management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with project management and task allocation software such as Microsoft Project, Team Foundation Server, JIRA, Smartsheet, Basecamp, etc.
  • Experience in creating project charters, risk management plans (RMP), work breakdown structures (WBS), and similar documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Risk management and mitigation skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and their respective use cases.

Bonus Skills and Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience managing SaaS or web solutions is a plus.
  • Experience building public dashboards or visualizations to track project statuses.
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes and tools.
