Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our premises, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Alarm Response: Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Access Control: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to prevent theft and maintain security.
  • Reporting: Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, and unusual occurrences.
  • Emergency Response: Call emergency services, such as police or fire departments, in cases of emergency.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries during non-business hours or when the switchboard is closed.
  • Enforcement: Warn individuals of rule infractions or violations and notify management as necessary.
  • Inspections: Conduct random checks of individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into or out of restricted areas.
  • Security Systems: Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and detect evidence of tampering.
  • Truck Management: Authorize and check in trucks, as well as inspect trucks leaving the premises.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Trustworthiness: Be trustworthy and pass a background check.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills.
  • Procedure Follow-up: Follow proper procedures.
  • Teamwork: Work well with the team.
  • Education: Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
