Department Overview:

The Elections Department is responsible for overseeing elections, advocating for nonpartisan voter accountability, and facilitating voter registration across multiple states. This department is focused on crafting and executing voter engagement strategies in collaboration with all departments to cultivate enduring electoral power within working-class communities.

Position Summary:

CASA in Action is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and analytical professional to spearhead the execution of our quality management initiatives. The Quality Management Coordinator will collaborate with the Georgia Canvass Operation Manager to oversee quality management systems, implement the quality management program, and analyze reported program data from ground operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for quality assurance and team development in voter engagement practices. They should demonstrate effective networking and communication skills, a commitment to achieving results in a dynamic environment without compromising quality, and a profound dedication to racial equity.

The Quality Management Coordinator will be based in Atlanta, Georgia, and will report directly to the Georgia Canvass Operation Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management Systems:

  • Implement quality management processes to monitor the effectiveness of canvasser interactions with voters and track progress towards campaign objectives.
  • Engage with canvassed voters to assess the quality of canvasser interactions and collect constructive feedback.
  • Analyze program data to identify irregularities and areas of underperformance.
  • Create and manage canvassing and phone bank lists utilizing updated scripts.
  • Incorporate new voter information into program workbooks as they become available.

Program Data Reporting:

  • Compile daily performance reports for the team and distribute them to ground team leaders.
  • Communicate newly identified member pipelines to the organizing team at CASA/CASA in Action.
  • Evaluate canvasser ground report entries and relay critical feedback to the Georgia Canvass Operation Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Georgia Canvass Operation Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

We are looking for candidates who excel in relationship-building, are results-driven, and possess strong communication abilities. Candidates should have:

  • The capability to fulfill all responsibilities outlined above.
  • A valid US Driver's License and access to a vehicle is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work outside of traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working with immigrant or low-income communities is advantageous.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • A high energy level suited for a fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated commitment to achieving high standards, punctuality, and a history of overcoming challenges to accomplish tasks.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data entry tasks.
  • Experience with voter file databases, such as VAN.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and tabulation tools (Excel and/or Google Sheets).
  • Attention to detail to ensure all work is accurate and polished.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A commitment to social change and advancing CASA in Action's mission of empowering low-income and immigrant communities through political engagement.
