The Senior Tax Compliance Manager will engage in various tax compliance, advisory, and strategic planning matters concerning the parent organization and its subsidiaries, with a particular focus on international tax issues.

The successful candidate will be part of a global tax team and will hold primary responsibility for preparing the U.S.

parent organization's international tax filings and assisting our international tax consultants in preparing returns for our foreign subsidiaries and branch offices located across multiple countries in Europe and Asia.

In this capacity, the candidate will collaborate closely with both the corporate controllers' division and the finance departments of our international subsidiaries, primarily focused on international accounting.

The candidate will work in conjunction with the tax director and international business units to ensure accurate reporting of all transactions from a compliance standpoint.

Serve as the main liaison to coordinate the preparation of the U.S. tax filings with the domestic Tax Lead;

Oversee coordination with the tax accounting team for financial reporting purposes;

Manage the preparation, review, and collection of tax documentation from ETS's international business units for the preparation of U.S. tax returns;


Prepare and review the organization's Form 5471s and relevant attachments for the proper submission of the company's U.S.

Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax and the U.S. Exempt Organization Business Return;

Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual international tax compliance reporting for ETS's foreign subsidiaries in collaboration with local tax and accounting compliance teams;

Examine international corporate agreements for value-added tax and sales tax implications;

Identify legal obligations and government reporting regulations impacting income tax matters for federal and international planning initiatives;

Review and monitor foreign tax return compliance tracking systems, assess inter-company transactions quarterly, and maintain an updated foreign tax calendar;

Contribute as a group leader to decision-making and enhancements in documenting transfer-pricing studies;

Support international tax initiatives and special projects in collaboration with the tax director, including cross-border repatriation planning and foreign tax credit utilization modeling;

Develop process enhancements in tax documentation and overall tax compliance procedures;

Calculate and track significant tax attributes of our international entities, including E&P, tax basis, Section 987 FX exposures, and tax credits;

Process subpart F and other book-tax discrepancies with tax accounting concerning financial reporting and financial planning;

Conduct research and analysis of tax legislation as well as the company's financial statements.

Engage in acquisition activities; perform due diligence reviews; research and analyze tax laws and amendments;

Address regular tax inquiries from internal stakeholders and departments;

Prepare for audits and may oversee the work of junior personnel;

Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations pertinent to the job function.

B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance

J.D., MST, or C.P.A. (or equivalent certification based on jurisdiction) preferred

6+ years of experience in a corporate tax department within a large multinational organization or with an accounting firm

Strong technological proficiency including (Excel, Corptax, and Vertex)

Familiarity with ASC and APB 28

Commitment to driving process improvements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proactive individual with a proven track record of taking ownership of responsibilities
