Position Summary:

Adecco is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our client’s team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the possibility of extension.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $33 - $42 (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Work Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance for sales tax, VAT, income, and franchise taxes, including accounting, research, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and file organizational tax returns.
  • Oversee and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax compliance reporting.
  • Review corporate contracts to identify VAT implications.
  • Conduct research on legal requirements and government regulations impacting income tax for federal planning initiatives.
  • Address tax-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain an updated tax calendar.
  • Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions and accruals.
  • Perform detailed analysis and reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
  • Support tax-related projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations relevant to the role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required (tax emphasis preferred).
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate or public accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and independent judgment.
  • Familiarity with tax concepts necessary for preparing Federal and State fiduciary tax returns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft accounting software.
  • Experience with Vertex is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation Details: $33.00 to $42.00 per hour
