We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Staff Office Manager to join our team at Christus Health. As a key member of our Medical Staff Services department, you will be responsible for managing staff related to credentialing and privileging functions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage staff related to credentialing and privileging functions
- Collaborate with administrative team, physicians, patients, staff employees, and community
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Develop and implement effective processes to improve staff productivity and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current CPCS certification or become certified within two years upon meeting certification requirements
- Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Additional desirable skills include:
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, MD-Staff, and data base management
- Understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in team settings
- Deadline driven, self-starter
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Two years of experience in Medical Staff Services
Working ConditionsGeneral office environment and general hospital departments (100%) of the day
Physical RequirementsAbility to move around the hospital to all units/departments and off-site clinics for about 20% of the day, sitting in office 80% of the day
