Overview:

Rails, a leading global lifestyle brand, is seeking an IT Coordinator to enhance its IT department. The IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our IT systems, which includes troubleshooting for both Windows and Mac platforms, monitoring network performance, and optimizing IT resources. This position requires collaboration with various teams to fulfill their IT requirements, manage technological assets, and deliver technical assistance to staff members. The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical foundation, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support and User Assistance:

  • Deliver technical assistance for Windows and Mac operating systems, covering installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Support users with hardware and software challenges, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Regularly update and maintain computer systems, ensuring all devices are equipped with the latest software and security enhancements.

2. Network Management and Enhancement:

  • Oversee network performance to identify and rectify issues proactively.
  • Resolve network-related challenges, including connectivity, latency, and security issues.
  • Enhance network efficiency by configuring and maintaining devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Implement and manage security measures to safeguard network integrity.

3. IT Resource Coordination:

  • Administer and organize IT resources, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Keep an updated inventory of all IT assets, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Develop and uphold IT policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on IT systems and applications.

4. Interdepartmental Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various departments to comprehend their IT needs and offer suitable solutions.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on IT initiatives and challenges.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of IT services.

5. Ongoing Improvement:

  • Stay informed about the latest technological advancements, recommending enhancements to the IT infrastructure.
  • Engage in continuous training and professional development to refine technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Coordinator or in a similar capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with network security practices and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are advantageous.

Working Conditions:
