The Clinical Research Specialist I plays a critical role in supporting our research initiatives by providing clinical research expertise and participating in the design and implementation of research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Project Coordination: Participate in the design and implementation of research projects, ensuring compliance with federal and local regulations.
  • Research Infrastructure Development: Responsible for specific and assigned aspects of research infrastructure development and maintenance.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate research projects at an institutional or departmental level, communicating project status and improvement areas to leadership.
  • Compliance and Quality Management: Ensure compliance with all federal and local agencies, including the FDA and local IRB, and maintain research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Training and Education: Participate in required training and education programs to maintain research expertise.
Requirements

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences.

Experience: 3 years of experience in area of research specialty required.
