Job Overview

Schulte Staffing Solutions, LLC is currently in search of a Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading food production organization.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: $27.00 per hour

Position Summary

The successful candidate will possess experience in a food manufacturing setting, be proficient in both English and Spanish, and have a high school diploma or relevant vocational training. This role involves assessing materials and products to ensure compliance with the stringent quality standards set by our esteemed client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in various testing, calibration, documentation, and enhancement tasks on a daily basis.
  • Record results and perform data analysis.
  • Conduct internal shelf-life assessments and collaborate with external laboratories.
  • Operate, maintain, clean, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments.
  • Communicate effectively with production staff and the Quality Manager.
  • Initiate a halt in production if any product defects are identified.
  • Reassess products as necessary to support quality investigations.
  • Oversee the usage and inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate calibration and other laboratory documentation.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and regulatory requirements in the industry.
  • Provide recommendations for process adjustments to meet quality standards.
  • Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization within the laboratory and production areas.
  • Assist in covering for colleagues during absences.

  • Knowledge of mathematics and quality analysis.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Drive.
