About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at one of our Massachusetts facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the upkeep of a 24-hour, three-shift plant facility, ensuring employee safety and minimizing operational interruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, support, and mentorship to the maintenance team.
  • Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain and repair all plant refrigeration, forklifts, conveyors, and various electrical production machinery.
  • Oversee the repair and preventative maintenance of manufacturing machines and equipment.
  • Monitor all material handling equipment maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment is serviced as required.
  • Meet established GMPs and maintain SOPs.
  • Direct and supervise daily work activities to maintenance team members.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, PLCs, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Make recommendations to senior management to improve the maintenance function.
  • Repair and troubleshoot various hydraulic and conveyor machine equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering preferred, or equivalent experience and training.
  • 10+ years in a related position with a background in maintenance of industrial food or beverage maintenance equipment.
  • High School Degree/GED is required.
  • 3+ years prior supervisory experience directing a crew of maintenance mechanics.
  • Experience with CMMS - computerized maintenance management system a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude with electrical and mechanical knowledge and training.
  • Prior experience managing a maintenance mechanics team.
  • Maintain GMP standards with ability to lift up to 50lbs to 75lbs.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic machinery and PLCs for packaging machines.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Electrical background up to 480V 3-phase, PC/software skills.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
