In this position, you will conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using various techniques such as x-ray, liquid penetrants, magnetic particle, Eddy current, and ultrasonic methods as certified. Your responsibilities will include evaluating inspection data, interpreting findings, and documenting results on approved forms.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and calibrate testing equipment, perform tests, and assess results for acceptance or rejection, ensuring thorough documentation. Execute system performance evaluations in line with the relevant process standards. Provide guidance and supervision to trainees and junior personnel in the applicable techniques and methods. Develop and formalize NDT work instructions. Secure Responsible Level 3 approval for all NDT work instructions. Successfully complete written and practical examinations for each specific NDT method. Maintain certification through recertification exams every five years.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma with at least one year of relevant experience, or three years of relevant experience in lieu of a diploma. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with product manufacturing and inspection technologies. Understanding of the scope and limitations of the techniques within the applicable certification. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and contractual documents.
