Our infrastructure team plays a pivotal role in developing tools and systems that enhance engineering productivity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate our advanced architecture, facilitating horizontal scaling to support our expanding global customer base.
  • Implement automation strategies for load distribution across our systems, ensuring seamless operations without downtime.
  • Design and establish a new Kubernetes staging environment that enables engineers to deploy resources rapidly.
  • Create tools to enhance developer workflows for a large engineering team, such as automating schema migrations for extensive MySQL databases.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and network challenges.
  • Architect, deploy, and manage asynchronous work queues and high-capacity storage solutions, demonstrating proficiency in managing large-scale systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A passion for cloud infrastructure and its potential to transform business operations.
  • A product-oriented mindset, aligning with our mission to enhance workplace efficiency.
  • Experience with high-availability, large-scale distributed systems in a significant internet service context.
  • Proficiency in developing software solutions on Amazon Web Services.
  • Fluency in a dynamic programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • A proven history of successfully launching and managing complex projects in ambiguous environments.
  • A pragmatic approach to technical problem-solving, weighing the benefits of various solutions.
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading an infrastructure engineering team.
  • Expertise in scaling databases like MySQL and Elasticsearch.
  • Advanced skills in Linux systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
