Job Title: Air Compressor Sales Manager

Join SunSource, a leading provider of fluid power and motion control solutions, as a Sales Manager for our Air Compressor division. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to manage a sales territory in Eastern Massachusetts and drive revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Aggressively pursue sales of compressed air products and services, including new machine sales, accessory equipment, service, parts, rentals, lubricants, and consultative services.
  • Provide customers with engineering services and consultation, including the engineering of complete compressed air systems.
  • Proactively analyze customer accounts to determine potential for both present and future equipment needs and establish rapport between customers and SunSource.
  • Identify, develop, and educate a sub-dealer network in assigned areas to sell and service our small air compressor product.
  • Represent SunSource at industry and high-level trade show events and provide advanced systems consultation to customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
  • Proven ability to grasp and work with technical products and sales, with at least three years of direct customer contact dealing with air compressors or similar products.
  • 2+ years industrial sales experience, with experience in air compressor systems preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on developing positive relationships with customers, clients, and fellow employees.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with a valid driver's license and insurability to operate a vehicle.
