Job Title: House Manager

Adroit Partners, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events in the Cullen Performance Hall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage back of house operations for all events, including scheduling, advancing, and supervision of all event-related elements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and government safety regulations for all facility and equipment used in the Performance Hall.
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, evaluation, and scheduling of Back of House students and labor staff.
  • Maintain department database for certification tracking, in-service trainings, emergency drills, university mandatory trainings, and other operations-related trainings.
  • Manage and maintain venue equipment inventory, completing inspections and checkout of equipment used for programs.
  • Make recommendations for equipment replacement.
  • Coordinate and administer planned maintenance, repairs, and replacement; assist with facility projects, renovations, and construction.
  • Manage event logistical complaints and customer service issues in a fair, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Assist the theatre director with the development of operational budgets in support of strategic goals.
  • Reconcile and maintain comprehensive operational assessment/project files.
  • Conduct regular condition assessments on existing AV equipment in the Cullen Performance Hall and use condition assessments to make recommendations and oversee the equipment preventative maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in events management.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical, or professional discipline.
Work Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift.
  • Day shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
